Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Web Designer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in web design.
• This role is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented individual who can lead the design and implementation of engaging, user-friendly websites.
• As a Senior Web Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the digital experience, mentor junior designers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions aligned with our brand and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Design and Development:
  • Design visually compelling and responsive websites that deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Branding and Visual Identity:
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Enhance the company’s visual identity through innovative and cohesive design strategies.
• UX/UI Optimization:
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Optimize existing websites for usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with web design trends and best practices to improve user experience.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and growth.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver impactful designs.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Proactively identify areas for design improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Implement feedback from stakeholders and end-users to refine designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in web design or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects, including responsive and mobile-first designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (not necessarily coding but understanding their implications for design).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion design or animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Lottie).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development for effective collaboration with developers.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and workflows.
