We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift In-charge

LocationSabon Wuse, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the shift operations of the Continuous Casting Machine to ensure efficient production of steel billets.
  • Monitor and continual control casting parameters to achieve desired quality and productivity targets.
  • Coordinate with all furnaces to get ladles within an effective period.
  • Inline inspections and reviews to verify the quality of the output.
  • Utilize the maintenance on unexpected break hours during shift.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Bring together with the maintenance team to resolve and preventive maintenance to increase the machine availability.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate and confirm the smooth operational shift handover to keep continuity of production.
  • Detailed report to Seniors / Managers to entitled carry the pending works during morning hours.
  •  Ensure safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of exp of relevant position.
