Job Title: Corporate Finance Analyst

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing financial forecasts to determine whether they are realistic or likely to be achieved.
  • preparing budgets and monitoring spending to ensure that it complies with company policies.
  • Analyzing prospective investments to determine their viability and risk.
  • preparing reports on financial status or progress of projects to upper management
  • Ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded in the company’s accounting system in a diligent manner.
  • Negotiating terms of loans and other financial transactions with lenders and other parties
  • Determining which investments are profitable based on interest rates, market conditions, and other factors reviewing financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and complete and determine whether they are realistic or likely to be achieved.

  • Dealing with structuring and other transaction-related matters
  • Liaising with business stakeholders across all levels to achieve transactional goals
  • Managing relationships with banks and other stakeholders on financing requirements
  • Maintaining abreast of the changing business landscape in order to identify opportunities to drive both organic and inorganic growth.
  • Developing analytical frameworks and communicating financial concepts
  • Gather and assess financial results. prepare financial reporting deliverables and explaining trends and business drivers. uncover areas that are under performing.
  • Primarily responsible for all filings, mandatory public notices and documentation related to the public issuance of securities in the Nigerian capital market, working closely with the SEC, NSE, FMDQ OTc and NASD
  • Prepare Investment Teasers, Information Memorandums and prospectuses relevant to specific transactions ·

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field
  • 3 – 5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Any relevant professional qualification (CFA, ACCA ICAN or MBA is an added advantage)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic & analytical thinking skills
  • Proven track record of successful financial management and analysis
  • I-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles
  • Expertise in financial modelling and forecasting
  • Research and information handling
  • Proficient in Excel/publishing tools
  • Creative and innovative
