Job Purpose

  • To support the Finance and Operations department of the National Country Office by assisting with document processing, coordination, and review, ensuring efficient office operations, monitoring financial activities, and contributing to reporting and audit processes.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide support to the 2024 audit by working with both Operations and finance to ensure the completeness of documents on Box.
  • File audit-ready documents as necessary.
  • Assisting with all facets of the day-to-day operations and finance of the office.
  • Tracing, tracking, and expediting the purchase processes to meet set timelines.
  • Handling organizational and clerical support tasks for the finance and operations unit.
  • support of program activities.
  • Review of support documents to ensure completeness.
  • Provide finance and administrative support.
  • Filing of finance and operations documents

Requirements

  • Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience: 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Prior volunteering experience with a donor-funded project is an advantage.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
