We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

In this role, you will

• Build new features to make our product/customer experience better
• Develop internal APIs and Services
• Interpret and implement Architectures
• Automate business processes
• Participate in the functional design of new products/features
• Write, test, deploy clean and reliable code

What we hope you’ll bring

• 4+ years of experience building backend infrastructure
• Solid Knowledge of Typescript, Node.js, Express, Postgres, AWS, Redis
• Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group, and cross-culture collaboration
• Good Understanding of OOP & Design Patterns
• Experience with Payment Services Integration & Processing
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture

Good to have:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Must have great problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to think creatively, take ownership, and must be able to learn quickly, and improvise as per the needs.
