Locations: Ibadan, Oyo and Lagos

Job Description
- The IT Support and Software Development Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and developing software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and software problems.
- Develop, test, and implement software applications to meet business needs.
- Maintain and update existing software applications and systems.
- Document technical procedures and create user manuals for software applications.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Conduct training sessions for users on software applications and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support and software development.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience in developing and maintaining software applications.
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security practices.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
